Top Beach Cocktails

Piña Colada Beach Cocktail

The piña colada is one of the most popular beach cocktails and is easy to make. In a blender, combine 1 cup of pineapple juice, 1/2 cup of coconut milk, and 1/2 cup of rum. Blend until smooth and pour into a hurricane glass filled with ice. Garnish with a pineapple wedge and cherry.

Blue Hawaiian Cocktail

Create this beach cocktail by mixing 1/2 cup of white rum, 3/4 cup of blue curaçao, 1/2 cup of pineapple juice, and 1/4 cup of sweet and sour mix. Shake with ice and pour into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a cherry and pineapple wedge.

Coconut Mojito

This beach cocktail is perfect for beach lovers who want something light and refreshing. Put 10 mint leaves in a shaker with 2 tablespoons of simple syrup, 1 ounce coconut rum, and the juice from one lime. Muddle the ingredients together then add 2 ounces club soda, shake with ice, and strain over fresh ice in a tall glass. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a lime wedge.

Margarita Beach Cocktail

This beach classic is sure to bring a beachy vibe wherever you go. In a blender, combine 1 cup of ice, 3 ounces silver tequila, 2 ounces triple sec and the juice from two limes. Blend until smooth and pour into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Daiquiri Beach Cocktail

This beach cocktail is perfect for beach bums who want something sweet and fruity. In a shaker, combine 2 ounces light rum, 1 ounce simple syrup and the juice from one lime. Shake with ice and pour into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a lime wedge.

Hurricane Beach Cocktail

This beach classic will make you feel like you are in New Orleans! In a shaker, combine 4 ounces dark rum, 2 ounces orange juice, 1/4 cup passion fruit liqueur, 3 tablespoons of simple syrup and the juice from two limes. Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with an orange slice and cherry.

Singapore Sling

This beach cocktail is perfect for beach lovers who want something exotic. In a shaker, combine 2 ounces gin, 1/2 ounce cherry brandy, 1/4 teaspoon orange bitters and the juice from one lime. Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice in a tall glass. Top off with 2 ounces club soda and garnish with an orange slice or cherry.

Mojito

This beach cocktail is sure to make you feel like you’re on a tropical beach. In a shaker, combine 1/2 cup of white rum, 4 tablespoons of simple syrup and the juice from one lime. Muddle the ingredients together then add 2 ounces club soda and 8 mint leaves, shake with ice and strain over fresh ice in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with fresh mint leaves and a lime wedge.

Strawberry Margarita Slushies

Create this beach cocktail by combining 1/4 cup tequila, 2 tablespoons triple sec, the juice from one lime and 4 cups frozen strawberries in a blender. Blend until smooth and pour into a pitcher filled with crushed ice. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices and a lime wedge.

Long Island Iced Tea

This beach cocktail is perfect for beach lovers who want something strong and refreshing. In a shaker, combine 1 ounce vodka, 1 ounce tequila, 1 ounce light rum, 1/2 ounce triple sec, 2 ounces sweet and sour mix and the juice from one lemon. Shake with ice and strain over fresh ice in an old-fashioned glass. Garnish with a lemon slice or cherry.

Mai Tai

Create this beach cocktail by combining 2 ounces white rum, 3/4 cup orange juice, 3/4 ounce curaçao liqueur, and the juice from one lime in a shaker with ice. Shake well then pour into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry.

Mango Margarita

This beach cocktail is sure to bring a beachy vibe wherever you go. In a blender, combine 1 cup of frozen mango chunks, 2 ounces tequila, 1 ounce orange liqueur and the juice from one lime. Blend until smooth and pour into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a fresh mango slice and a lime wedge.

Bonus recipe Watermelon Margarita Slushie

Blend 1/2 cup chopped watermelon, 2 tablespoons agave syrup, 2 ounces tequila, and 1 ounce lime juice until smooth. Serve in a glass filled with ice and garnish with a lime wheel. Enjoy!
