It’s that time of year when the spooky fun begins and continues until November 1st, when Day of the Dead is celebrated. So what else would I write about less than two weeks from Halloween except this Bloody Sunrise Cocktail.

Beach lovers that we are, most of us are familiar with the Tequila Sunrise cocktail. This Bloody Sunrise Cocktail is just as easy and delicious as the original.

And did I mention how pretty it is? This is a cocktail you will love so much that you will want to enjoy it all year long.

Below are the ingredients needed followed by the directions of how to make this cocktail. At the bottom of this article, I have placed links to other very popular beach cocktails. Let’s make a Bloody Sunrise cocktail!

Bloody Sunrise Cocktail Ingredients

1 shot (1.5 ounces) silver tequila. My go to is either Jose Cuervo Silver or Patron Silver. Use your favorite.

2 ounces pineapple juice

2 ounces orange juice

1/2 ounce bloodred orange juice

1/4 ounce Grenadine

Bloody Sunrise Cocktail Instructions

This fun Halloween cocktail is easy to make too. Follow these steps:

Place ice, tequila, orange juice and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker. Shake until chilled.

Strain from the cocktail shaker into a cocktail glass and add ice but leave room at the top of the glass, so you are able to tip it.

Tilt your glass to the side and slowly add the Grenadine and Blood Orange Juice to the side and allowing it to sink to the bottom.

That is it! Add a fun garnish or two. Maybe a spider on an orange slice. Or make a ghost out of a marshmallow. Let your imagination run wild and enjoy. Salute!
