It’s another tequila sunrise. Starin’ slowly ‘cross the sky. Said goodbye.

Love the Eagles and this is one of my favorite songs they sing. I also love to enjoy a Tequila Sunrise Beach Cocktail both at the beach and at home. It also played on The Bridge radio station on my way back to the office.

Not sure what it is about tequila, but for me at least, no hangover the next day. When you are on vacation, that is VERY important. At least to me.

What is better than enjoying a fun night out at the beach and waking up the day feeling good and ready to roll? After all it’s not even fun to sit on the beach with a hangover

Now I’m not saying you won’t get a hangover, but this is the way it works for me. Plus there is a huge difference between one or two of anything versus 8!

Plus a Tequila Sunrise is perfect anytime whether you are on vacation or not. So here we go!

Below are the ingredients and easy to follow recipe, so you can make it anytime you want. Also below are links to a few other great beach cocktails you may want to enjoy.

Tequila Sunrise Ingredients

1 shot Tequila. Now you know me. I prefer a top shelf tequila such as Patron, Don Julio or 1800 Cuervo but choose your favorite.

3/4 cup Orange Juice. Fresh squeezed really makes a difference if you have the time.

1/2 shot Grenadine.

Ice.

Tequila Sunrise Beach Cocktail Instructions

1. Mix tequila with orange juice into a 12 ounce glass. Stir.
2. Add ice to fill to the top of the glass.
3. SLOWLY pour the Grenadine into the glass. Allow it to settle to the bottom before serving.
4. Garnish with an orange slice and a maraschino cherry.

And that’s it! Easy way to transport yourself to the beach.
