Need To Cool Off? Try This Vodka Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail
I just enjoyed my first Vodka Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail. The first thought I had? Where has this cocktail been all my life? It is the perfect beach cocktail on a hot summer day.
Crisp. Refreshing. Light. And oh so delicious. This beach cocktail has moved to the top of my list and just might move to the top of yours too.
Even better? It only requires three ingredients and is such a pretty pink. This makes the retired bartender in me happy.
We often have a tendency to make things much more complicated than they need to be. When it comes to food and drinks, my opinion is less is more.

Ready to make your new favorite beach cocktail at home? Here’s the recipe.
Whip up a pitcher-full and invite your beach-loving friends over. Great also for a hot pool day or summer picnic.

Vodka Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail
Fresh blueberries and one lemon if desired. Fresh really makes a huge difference in flavor.
Lemonade (I prefer no sugar in any of my drinks and this includes lemonade. I used premade Minute Maid Zero Sugar Lemonade).
Vodka. My preference is always Grey Goose or Tito’s Vodka but choose the vodka you like the best.
How To Make The Vodka Blueberry Lemonade Cocktail
Place the blueberries and if you are garnishing with a lemon, take another slice and add it to the bottom of a shaker cup.
Muddle the blueberries and 1/4 lemon that has been juiced if you’d like to up the lemony twang in the bottom of a cocktail shaker cup.
Four to one. One shot of Vodka and four shots of lemonade. Add to the shaker cup.
Shake and serve over ice adding a lemon garnish if desired.
Simple right? That is all you need to do to whip up this beach cocktail that literally transports you instantly to a hot summer day on the beach or at the pool.
Tip: If the lemonade is too strong for you, cut back to three shot and add a spritz of seltzer water. That dilutes the lemonade’s flavor a bit.
