Why the US Coastline is a Beachgoer’s Dream
As you may know, I’ve been a beach lover/beach bum my entire life. My beach love started in Ohio on Lake Erie at Edgewater Beach and Huntington Beach.
Back in those days, however, these beaches were not as nice as they are today. And that’s a wonderful thing because we are not maintaining and protecting our beautiful American beaches.
The U.S. coastline stretches over 95,000 miles, touching three major bodies of water. This vast expanse offers a diverse range of beach experiences.
From the warm, sandy beaches of the Atlantic to the rocky, dramatic Pacific coast, there’s a beach for every type of beach lover.
The U.S. is also home to a variety of unique coastal ecosystems. These range from the tropical rainforests of Hawaii to the marshlands of the Gulf Coast. Each ecosystem brings its own unique beauty and wildlife, adding to the richness of the U.S. beach experience.
Whether you’re a surfer, a sunbather, a wildlife enthusiast, or a hiker, the U.S. beach coastlines has something for you.
