Summer Vodka Collins Cocktail
It’s Friday AND it’s been a busy week. So today’s beach cocktail is the Summer Vodka Collins Cocktail, AND it only has two ingredients!
Some weeks never seem to end and when that happens, all I want to do is kick back and relax. This is the perfect cocktail to do that.
A regular Summer Collins Cocktail is made with gin. But, I am not a gin type of girl, so today’s version is made with Vodka.
Keep on an eye on your drinks, though. Vodka can sneak up on you.

Before someone messages me that this is not the correct way to make a “Collins cocktail,” this is an EASY two ingredient version.
Yes you can go get all complicated if you want to, and I’ll post a complete Summer Collins recipe soon, but for today, let’s go simple.

Summer Vodka Collins Ingredients
I promised you two ingredients, and it is truly only two ingredients. They are equal parts vodka and lemonade.
Summer Vodka Collins Cocktail Instructions
You see the two ingredients? Vodka and lemonade? That’s it with ice.
Equal parts. If you are not familiar with the term equal parts, it means how it sounds. If you put in 3 ounces of Vodka, you will need 3 ounces of lemonade.
To clarify, a shot is 1.5 ounces. If you go the route of increasing the amount you are using, I recommend using a shaker cup, then pouring into the glass you plan to use.
This way you will not have extra if you are only making one cocktail. I hope that make sense. If you choose to make this as a pitcher for a group, increase accordingly.
If your pitcher is 32 ounces, start with 12 ounces each of Vodka and lemonade. Add ice to the top. Tweak from there to your taste. Garnish with sliced lemons.
