We all know about Rum and Coke. A Batanga Summer Cocktail is tequila and coke. Personally? I think it’s much better than a rum and coke.

Summer Cocktail Batanga Ingredients

As always, let’s pull our ingredients together. You will need:

1 shot (1.5 ounces) Tequila. Pick our favorite.

4 ounces, Coke or Pepsi. I use Diet Pepsi as I watch the sugar I consume. Choose your preference.

1/2 ounce fresh squeezed lime juice

Salt for rim of cocktail glass. I use my margarita salt.

Lime Wedge

Instructions for the Batanga Cocktail

Really very easy to make this one.

Squeeze your lime juice and use the lime to run along the rim of your cocktail glass. Press rim into your salt.

Pour the tequila, soda, and lime juice into the cocktail glass.

Fill with ice. Add lime wedge to garnish.
