One of my favorite things to do whenever I travel is to try new foods and cocktails. Even more so? When I am sitting outdoors with amazing ocean views. Is there anything better?

If you are looking for the best rooftop restaurants in Tampa, St. Petersburg or Clearwater Beach you are in the right place. This is the first of many articles that will provide information on the perfect setting for you to enjoy dinner and happy hour in your favorite beach towns not only in Florida but all over as I travel.

Tampa is one of the larger cities on Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. Spectacular views and an ever-growing cityscape to enjoy. With St. Pete Beach and the entire Tampa Bay area short drives away, there are several fantastic rooftop restaurants for you to enjoy.

If you’re looking for the best views of Tampa, there’s no better place to do that than to be than one of the city’s rooftop restaurants.

From high-end dining to casual eats, these eateries offer stunning views of the waterfront or downtown skyline. And with the warm Florida weather, they’re perfect for al fresco dining year-round.

A great place to start is Sal Y Mar. I have been to this rooftop restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The service was wonderful on our visit and the food was absolutely fantastic.

The view! The view from the rooftop was out of this world. Whether you are looking for a place to begin your night out or to finish a romantic evening, this rooftop lounge delivers.

If you prefer Spanish tapas and small plates, this is the place for you! This Tampa rooftop bar is absolutely worth a visit. It is located at 3650 Midtown Dr Tampa, FL 33607

Next on the list in Tampa is Luna Lounge. Luna Lounge is located at 930 S Howard Ave, Tampa, FL 33606 on the 5th level of the Morrison Building.

Best rooftop restaurants in St. Pete

Let’s talk about St. Pete starting with Hotel Zamora. This beautiful hotel overlooks the Intracoastal Waterway and the Gulf of Mexico.

The 360 degree Rooftop Lounge is on our list of the best rooftop bars. You will see why when you get a glimpse of the panoramic views of the Gulf of Mexico.

Right now you can enjoy Happy Hour daily and longer hours Friday and Saturday as they stay open until 11. There is also a pool bar located in the hotel.

Armature Works in St. Pete should also be on your list. This is located in 22,000 square feet of fully restored industrial space that was previously a former barn that stored streetcars.

This is truly a unique space. On the roof, you will find more event space with waterfront views of the Hillsborough River and Downtown Tampa.

Not sure what to eat? No worries! There are several restaurants with a full menu for you to choose your lunch or dinner from.

Next on the list is Pier Teaki or teak at Pier Point. It is located on top of The Pier in St. Petersburg, the current hotel.
