Italian Margarita Beach Cocktail With Amaretto Easy To Make

Margaritas scream summer to me. Actually I love margaritas all year long because there are so many ways to make one. Today we have the Italian Margarita Beach Cocktail and it is delicious!

My daughter loves Olive Garden which is funny to me because my husband is Italian. He makes sauce at least every month or two. Enough sauce to freeze for future dinners.

Whenever my daughter and I plan to go out for lunch or dinner, her pick is Olive Garden. So along with her, I go even though I would rather eat my husband’s pasta.

So that brought me to the drawing board of trying Italian Margaritas and finding the one I liked the best. I’ve written everything down for you below, so you can make it at home as well.

Very easy to make, and it really swaps out the Triple Sec or Cointreau whichever you use for Amaretto. Refreshing on a hot day as you would expect your margarita to be. Even better when you drink them from the cool, handmade margarita glasses I posted below.

Four ingredients, easy to follow instructions and voilà! You have an Italian Margarita to enjoy at the beach or at home. I’ve also put the links to other delicious beach cocktails below.

Italian Margarita Beach Cocktail Ingredients

Tequila 2 ounces. I prefer Patron or Jose Cuervo Gold but use your favorite. 2 ounces is 1 and 1/2 shots.

Amaretto. Disaronno for me but choose your favorite. 1 ounce which is 3/4 shot glass.

Orange Juice 3 ounces (2 shots if you’re using a shot glass to measure).

Lime Juice 1 ounce (1/3 shot glass if you’re using a short glass to measure).
