Creamsicle Cocktail For Hot Days

Is there anything better than ice cream on a hot day? Yes. A Creamsicle Cocktail! And it’s SO good.

Creamsicles always flash me back to being a kid. Standing on the curb, waiting to first hear the music followed by the ice cream truck getting closer to our house.

I am showing my age here, but in the 60s, mom generally stayed home while dad worked. Ice cream was a special treat for us so when we were able to buy something.

Today we are going to tag onto that nostalgia and learn to make a Creamsicle Cocktail. Ready? Let’s get started.

Creamsicle Ingredients

We start by pulling the ingredients we need. They are:

1 shot Vanilla Vodka

1/3 shot (1/2 ounce) Triple Sec

2/3 shot or 1 ounce Half and Half

2/3 shot or 1 ounce Orange Juice (you can also use orange soda)

Creamsicle Cocktail Recipe

First add ice to a cocktail shaker.

Next, add all ingredients above to the shaker and shake. Note: If you use orange soda, watch so you don’t shake too hard and it explodes out of your shaker cup.

Add ice to a cocktail glass and strain from the shaker into the cocktail glass.
