Clearwater Beach Vacation For A Fun Easter Spring Break
Thinking about where to go for Spring or Easter break? A sun-soaked escape on a Clearwater Beach vacation is the perfect destination for your getaway.
Nestled along Florida’s Gulf Coast, Clearwater Beach offers a perfect blend of balmy weather, pristine sands, and a range of fun water and on land things to do to make your Easter break an unforgettable experience.
Weather and Water Temps
As Easter approaches, Clearwater Beach has amazing temps, ranging from the mid-70s to the low 80s Fahrenheit during the day. It’s the sweet spot where the sun feels warm on your skin, while the gentle sea breeze keeps you comfortably cool.
Something I often use to prompt folks in my yoga class to relax in meditation on the beach. Feel the sun warm your body while the ocean breeze keeps you cool.

Dipping your toes into the Gulf of Mexico’s inviting waters? Expect water temperatures hovering around the mid-70s Fahrenheit during this time, making it just right for a refreshing swim or various water activities.
For us in Florida, it’s a bit chilly, but for northerners it’s the perfect temp. Beautiful white sandy beaches, turquoise waters and so much more to enjoy.
Clearwater Beach Vacation Details
Crystal-clear waters, powdery white sands, and a shoreline that seems to stretch into infinity. Clearwater Beach is the ideal picturesque coastal paradise.
Walk on the soft sands, then relax and people watch while enjoying the sun. Have fun building sandcastles, or simply lounging with a good book in hand.
Plenty of things to do as well, from beach rentals for jet skis or parasailing to beach volleyball courts. Maybe you’d like to try snorkeling. This beach is perfect with its clear waters.
Don’t forget to catch the mesmerizing sunset at Pier 60. The daily sunset celebrations are so much fun with street performers, music and local artists.
Things to Do
Water Sports: Dive into an ocean, well Gulf, of water activities. Try parasailing, jet skiing, paddleboarding, or maybe enjoy leisurely dolphin-watching cruises.
Nature Escapes: Explore Caladesi Island State Park or Honeymoon Island State Park, They are nearby and offer beautiful hiking trails, birdwatching, and more.
Foodie?: Indulge in super fresh seafood at waterfront restaurants, or visit the local eateries along Mandalay Avenue for a taste of the town’s culinary menu options.
Family-Friendly Fun: Enjoy family-friendly attractions like the Clearwater Marine Aquarium. This was the home of Winter the dolphin.
Unfortunately, Winter is no longer with us, but the Clearwater Marine Aquarium did an amazing job of rehabbing her and letting her live her life out with them. Find out the whole story when you visit. It’s an amazing one!
Relaxation and Wellness: Anything better than completely relaxing? Treat yourself to the spa, yoga sessions on the beach, or simply unwind walking the beach as you look for shells and sand dollars.
