Orange Crush Beach Cocktail

You know I love to try new things, and recently I tried an Orange Crush Beach Cocktail. It was fantastic!

Living in the Sunshine State where orange trees are often loaded with oranges, I just had to try this one. I’m not a fan of orange crush the soda, but this cocktail was perfect. Not too sweet or tart.

Orange Crush cocktail was actually created in Ocean City, not Florida. That surprised me because I always think rustic, salty, lobsters when I think of that part of the United States.

Ingredients For An Orange Crush Beach Cocktail

• Vodka (I prefer Grey Goose or Titos). 1 shot or 2 ounces per taste.
• Triple Sec or if you want to ramp up the orange flavor, choose Grand Marnier which is a combination of Cognac, bitter orange and sugar. 1 shot or 2 ounces add to taste.
• Orange juice. Fresh is best! If you are juicing an orange, you will want 1/4 to 1/3 cup.
• Sprite or other lemon lime soda. If you’re watching sugar, try sparkling water to cut down on sugar.

Grab a shaker with ice and put in Vodka, Triple Sec and orange juice. Shake then pour over ice in a tumbler and fill to the top with sprite or what you choose in its place.

Garnish with an orange slice or peel with a cherry. That’s it. Enjoy!
